Finding the perfect camping sleep solution hasn’t been easy. After a ton of research and several hours at REI we finally found the sleep solution for us! The EXPED MegaMat Max15 Duo sleeping pad.

On dark nights, at picnics, in a campground and at home the Barebones Living Railroad Lantern is my new companion. I love the weight of it in my hand, the steady light that surges from its core and the way I feel like I just was transported through time when I use it.

Roof top tents are becoming extremely popular. Weekend campers, overlanders and even RV enthusiasts are taking an interest.  But are they really worth it?  After hours of research and a lot of discussion, we can honestly say a big YES!

We recently purchased a VSSL First Aid.

First aid kits are a camping staple, we always bring one along so when we found the VSSL First Aid we were thrilled.  Double or even triple duty items are invaluable when camping and backpacking. With the VSSL First Aid we have a 200 lumen flashlight, SOS beacon, first aid kit and compass.

We were lucky enough to receive two Cliq Chairs for Christmas.  If you’re on social media lately you’ve likely seen an advertisement for these compact and durable chairs that were a recent crowd-funding craze.  The craze is because Cliq chairs are arguably the best portable chair design on the market. They pack up small, are extremely durable and comfortable.

We have added the YETI LoadOut 30 GoBox to our equipment arsenal and we couldn’t be happier. Our gear needs to be packable, durable and wilderness proof. We needed a long-term solution that could be rained on, snowed on, dropped, stacked and exposed to extreme heat and cold.
